ABOUT Laura Roscoe
Laura Roscoe has been a Saint Lucie County active citizen from the moment she moved into the community in 2018 as a political activist. Born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, Laura developed a passion for journalism early on and pursued her education on it while working at one of Costa Rica's largest television networks, gaining valuable experience and the opportunity to emerge in the country's political environment. She founded her own business specializing in wedding and political event planning, as well as providing marketing advice to small businesses. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her craft earned her respect and recognition among local businesses and community leaders in the South Pacific region of her original country.In 2009, Laura made the bold decision to move to the United States legally, seeking new opportunities and experiences. In 2016, Laura became a naturalized American citizen, a milestone that solidified her commitment to her new country and its democratic process. Her decision to register as a Republican and support President Trump stemmed from her belief in respecting human life, a principle she found compelling in Trump's rhetoric and policies.Laura moved into Saint Lucie County, Florida in 2017 and decided to get involved with the local Republican Party almost immediately. She dedicated herself to bridging cultural divides and promoting civic participation. She engaged with voters in Saint Lucie County, organizing community events, voter registration drives, and educating about Republican values. Her experience as an entrepreneur, and community hispanic leader have shaped her into a passionate advocate for her beliefs and an influential voice in the political field in her adopted home of Saint Lucie County.She has volunteered with Trump's Campaign Latinos for Trump in 2019, where she served as a Neighborhood Team Leader. Her commitment and leadership were quickly recognized, leading to her subsequent role as Chairwoman of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly. In this capacity, Laura effectively amplified the voices of Hispanic Republicans, advocating for policies that promote prosperity and opportunity within the community. Currently, Laura serves as the Chairwoman of the Republican Club of Saint Lucie County.
